I am pleased to offer here: Fruit and Bread, a Scientific Diet by Gustav Schlickeysen, translated from the German by M.L. Holbrook, M.D. This small hard cover book (5 ? x 7 ? inches 227 pages) was published by M.L. Holbrook and Company of New York, dated 1877 (with no mention of edition) and including an Appendix. Please see the photos of the Table of Contents and List of Illustrations for your further information. The book is bound in dark green, blind-stamped boards with gilt titles on cover and spine. Condition: This book is in near fine condition. There are some minor blemishes to the hardcovers including some small smudges to the front cover and two tiny white dots on the rear board. The page edges also have some soiling but nothing significant. Inside the book is unmarked and the interior pages are clean and bright throughout, without toning or foxing.
