OU. * Seltene Erstausgabe.- "Dem trefflichen Künstler und Meister seines Instrumentes Herrn Gustav Hinke freundschaftlichst gewidmet". - Gustav Schreck (1849 - 1918) war von 1887 - 1918 Lehrer für Theorie und Komposition am Leipziger Konservatorium, 1893 wurde er Thomaskantor und war 1900 Mitbegründer der Neuen Bachgesellschaft. Der Widmungsträger Gustav Hinke (1844 -1893) war ab 1867 Solo-Oboist des Gewandhausorchesters zu Leipzig. Als Kollege von Schreck übte er von 1882 - 1893 das Lehramt für Oboe am gleichen Institut wie jener aus. - Einriss im Titelblatt der Klavierstimme ausgebessert.
