This work was both a memoir and autobiography, in which the author describes his life through to 1774, puttin ga 'happy face on his days of loneliness'. Casanove was so famous for his complicated and elaborate affairs with women that his name is now synonymous with extensive romantic exploits. With an introduction by Franz Blei (1871-1942), an Austrian essayist, playwright, and translator. Blei was particularly known for being both a friend and collaborator to Franz Kafka.Collated, complete. Bound in a contemporary half-morocco binding on marbled boards. Externally, smart.
