Text is in Latin. Publishers name on the title page is Elzeuiriania more often referred to as Elzevier. Engraved title page has 11 coats of arms on it. A Latin-language , London-printed, seventeenth century work on Italy. First published in 1628; this is the second edition printed in 1631. Text block is clean and tight. Scarce.

Condition: Very Good. 372p, (8). Contemporary stiff vellum over boards. Remenants of clasps. Second edition. First printed in 1628 as a part of the Republica series. Willems #356 describes the title as "Varij Editio". Rahir #336 shows the same as "Varii". Berghman #1728. Internally a fresh clean copy with handwritten notation on the top of the engraved title page that seems to refer to the town Landeshut in Schlesien.
