Zu II-V: Bei den vier beiliegenden handschriftlichen Aufzeichnungen, alle ebenfalls mit gemessenen Höhenangaben bestimmter Orte und Punkte, dürfte es sich um Autographen Sendtners handeln, auch wenn hier weder Jahreszahlen noch Signaturen erscheinen. Teilweise handelt es sich um Daten, die Sendtner aus anderen Quellen, darunter Werke mehrerer Geographen, Höhenmessungen an Eisenbahnlinien ("Ludwig-Südnordbahn" und "Münchner-Augsburgerbahn") und Grenzflüssen (darunter Inn und Lech) übernommen hat. Mit acht engbeschriebenen Folio-Seiten am umfangreichsten und vermutlich interessantesten dürfte jedoch ein "Auszug der absoluten Höhen aus der Beschreibung der Landesgrenzen gegen Tyrol und Vorarlberg (II. Abthlg. vom Inn bis an den Lech)" sein, der 1839 von den beiden mit den Vorarbeiten zur Vermarkung der Grenze beauftragten Technikern stammt, dem Trigonometer Silvan Wild und dem Inspektor Eduard Wild. Die unveröffentlichten Unterlagen verzeichnen 400 Messpunkte der Landgerichte Rosenheim, Tegernsee, Werdenfels, Schongau sowie Füssen und wurden vermutlich Sendtner für seine Arbeiten von den beiden Landvermessern überlassen. - Sendtner (1813-1859) war Professor für Botanik in München und 1. Konservator des Herbars der Universität. Er gilt als Mitbegründer der zoenologischen Richtung der Pflanzengeographie und war um die Klärung wichtiger biogeographischer Grundbegriffe wie Standort, Region und Zone bemüht. - Sonderdruck mehrfach gestempelt, sonst gut erhalten.
