Second Edition, revised and enlarged. Slight foxing throughout and edges of leaves a little darkened, otherwise a nice copy. From the Library of Hester Sassoon [née Gatty], bearing her autograph Hester Gatty signature, dated 1925, on a preliminary blank Hester Gatty was born in 1906, the daughter of Sir Stephen and Lady Katherin…e Gatty. She met and married Siegfried Sassoon in 1933. Although they separated after the birth of their son, George, they never divorced. She died in 1973. Original blue blind stamped cloth, spine lettered and decorated in gilt, top edge gilt, patterned end-papers.
