From the estate of Esmé Wynne-Tyson, with whom Beresford co-habited and co-authored eleven titles, via the estate of Esme's son, Jon Wynne-Tyson, author, publisher and King of Redonda. Esmé has highlighted some passages in pencil with a few annotations and has also made some notes to the rear flap of the jacket. The boards are a little discoloured with fading along the edges and browning along the top and bottom edges of the spine. Page edges a little browned. Scattered brown spotting to the endpapers with a little spotting to the adjacent pages but the pages are otherwise unmarked. The jacket has heavy browning to the spine with a thin strip missing at the top and some chipping at the bottom. Browning to the front and rear panels with some light chipping to the top edges. First printing.
