Very light soiling to the front paper flap, else a fine copy. Hand bound by Don and Pam Rash. The printing was executed by Alice Totten, Arnaldo Lopez and Barbard Taylor on mould made Rives Lightweight paper. The b…ook was set in 14 point Centaur and Arrighi and printed with a Vandercook No. 4 press on Rives Lightweight paper. Mary Chenoweth assisted in the transcription of the manuscript and proofreading. The wrapper folds completely around the book creating a flap from the left. Foreword by Brother Daniel Burke. Thomas Berry, then an American GI, was given this manuscript by Shewring. Berry later worked with John Anderson and offered him the manuscript for printing., but Pickering Press never completed the book. " In 1986, Anderson suggested The Press of Appletree Alley undertake the project. This we have done, printing exactly as the manuscript was written.". Press of Appletree Alley (illustrator).
