While living in Britain near a great arsenal, Enid Guest developed a hatred of war and channeled this energy into producing DRAGON'S TEETH. Because of its pacifist themes, no one there wanted to produce it. After moving to Honolulu, Guest's play was finally produced by the Pasadena Community Playhouse in Pasadena, California. Guest's first professionally produced play was THAT WHICH COUNTS (1925) and she is the author of the novel DARK HERITAGE (1931).
