Viel Platz haben wir auch diesmal den Kapiteln Eltern, Lehrer und Schüler berichten und Unser Terminkalender eingeräumt, weil gerade diese Sei-ten zeigen, was wir unter Traditionspflege verstehen: Schule als Lebensraum mit einem weitreichenden Angebot jenseits der Pflichtstunden, welches den Schülern nicht nur Spaß bereitet, sondern sie in ih-rer individuellen Entwicklung ebenso wie als Gruppe entscheidend weiterbringt. Nicht verzeichnet wurden im vorliegenden Buch die vielen Museums-, Ausstel-lungs-, Theater- und Konzertbesuche, auch nicht die vielen Touristengruppen, welcheÂ- angemeldet oder nichtÂ- die Schule unbedingt sehen wollten.Es ist auch diesmal unmöglich, den normalen Schulbetrieb mit allen Erfolgen und Misserfolgen, mit all seinen Hoffnungen und Enttäuschungen der über 850 Schüler und 60 Lehrer zu widerspiegeln.Meinungen von außen über die Brukenthalschule sind mit Vorsicht zu betrachten, besonders auch die positiven. Der ungebrochen harte Kampf um die Plätze unserer vier 9. Klassen ist dann aber doch ein klares Zeichen der Anerkennung unserer Arbeit.
