Sonst insgesamt gut und sauber. // Original edition. -- Original half cloth portofolio with green-grey cloth spine and cloth tie (boards are rubbed and show mostly light foxing of spotting, few plates stained and one with edge tear, tie is unattached)with 54 loose plates (complete, as issued) presenting works by exemplary printmakers of the 16th century, i.e.Lucas van Leyden, Barthel and Hans Sebald Beham, Jak Bink, Georg Pencz, Heinrich Aldegreve. -- Simonau and Toovey were renowned printers for art books and plates, such as this one, in the early years of photography.
