Condition: molto buono. Ricamo su seta ( mm 60x80) con fili d'argento e lana, volti dei personaggi e corpo di Cristo, dipinti a mano; supporto in seta anticamente applicato su carta. Il lenzuolo sindonico è sostenuto da tre figure in piedi: un vescovo mitrato al centro e due prelati ai lati. La Sindone di Besançon presenta l'immagine frontale del corpo di Cristo senza piaghe o ulcere, conosciuta, soprattutto attraverso incisioni del XVI e XVII. A lungo considerato il lenzuolo con cui era stato coperto Cristo dopo essere stato lavato e deposto nel sepolcro. Book.

Condition: molto buono. incisione a colori su seta (cm 77,5x43) raffigurante il Sudario inserito entro cornice con racemi vegetali su fondo blu; agli angoli simboli della Passione di Cristo su fondo rosso, al centro del bordo inferiore scritta ''Tuam Sindone veneramus Domine'' in oro su fondo rosso. La stessa identica iconografia si può riscontrare in una litografia a colori su carta realizzata da Enrico Reffo, stampata a Torino dai Fratelli Doyen nel 1898. Questo modello, molto importante perchè si tratta dell'ultima elaborazione iconografica realizzata della Sindone prima dell'avvento della fotografia del Pia, venne quindi utilizzato per essere trasposto su seta ma con alcune varianti: venne aggiunto lo stemma di casa Savoia e modificati titolo e concessioni di stampa. Importante cimelio della Ostensione del 1898 realizzata per commemorare i Cinquant'anni della concessione dello Statuto Albertino, l'''Esposizione di Arte Sacra e delle Missioni Cattoliche'' e le nozze di Vittorio Emanuele III e Elena di Montenegro, avvenuto nel 1896.
