A short digest of a report by three British MPs, Norman Dodds, Stanley Tiffany and Leslie Solley, which was published in the UK as Tragedy of Greece (1946). As stated in the foreword by the Greek American Council, the report documents the "fraudulent elections of May 31, 1946, sponsored and endorsed by Great Britain and the United States, run by quislings, 'guaranteed' by terrorists, and boycotted by the democratic Greek people, [that] placed in power a monarcho-fascist clique" (p. 3). The Greek American Council was a leftwing organization that formed in the wake of WWII and the outset of the Greek civil war. It later became the American Council for a Democratic Greece. Stapled, photo-illustrated wrappers, 16 pp. Wear along the spine and rubbing to wrappers, very good. Uncommon in the trade.
