Externally, generally smart. With a tiny chip in the wrap to the head of the spine, and around a centimetre of loss to the tail of the spine. There is an inch-long closed tear in the wrap from the tail to the front joint. Internally firmly bound, with a little strain towards the front of the volume. Pages are bright and clean throughout. Les fines pointes-sèches par Henry Somm représentent les "types" de Parisiennes : la Grande Dame, la Ménagère, la Jeune Fille à Marier, la Dévote, la Nourrice, l'Institutrice, la Domestique, la Petite Bonne Duval, la Petite Blanchisseuse, le Trottin, la Demoiselle de magasin, le Mannequin, le Modèle, l'Élève du conservatoire, l'Acteuse, la Demi-Mondaine, la Fille, la Bouquetière, la Bicycliste et enfin la Perverse (sic). Exemplaire correct malgré des rousseurs sur les tranches, affectant à peine les marges extérieures de quelques feuillets, et la fragilité du brochage signalée, non rogné. En l'état. 1897.
