Le pagiine di testo, in francese, sono su bella carta nelle loro barbe. Le tavole riprodotte in accurate fototipie opache in biano e nero sono su carta a bordi dritti editorale. SPADINI (Firenze 1883 -… Roma 1925), pittore della "Scuola Romana", a Roma conobbe il critico Emilio Cecchi, che lo considerava uno dei più valenti pittori del nuovo secolo e con il quale frequenta l'ambiente di letterati e artisti che si riuniscono al caffè Aragno di via del Corso. Nel 1924 ebbe una sala personale, con 37 opere, alla XIV Biennale di Venezia. SOFFICI nel 1913, con Papini, fondò la rivista Lacerba, organo ufficiale del futurismo,che però abbandonò per il cubismo nel 1914, ma nel 1919 con Papini fondò la rivista "La Vraie Italie". Il Soffici che aveva fatto conoscere agli amici fiorentini Cézanne, i cubisti e Apollinaire, e che aveva espresso e ravviato l'entusiasmo per Rimbaud, ripiega verso uno stile decoroso e foscoliano classico. La rivista VALORI PLASTICI, per la diffusione delle idee estetiche della pittura metafisica e delle correnti d'avanguardia europea, fu edita in 15 numeri dal 1918 al 1921, e questo quaderno in francese conerma le nuove importanti iniziative, specialmente fuori dall'Italia.
