A feature of the earlier ones is the handsome engraved designs by Reynolds Stone.

The seventeenth century poet showed promise as a poet from a young age, achieving fame for his collection entitled Poeticall Blossomes at just fifteen years old. As well as these early poems, the volume includes The Mistress, and verses on several occasions. Number 692 of 1050 copies printed on Dutch rag paper. The Nonesuch Press specialised in limited editions and private press and aimed to achieve the same standards as the private press movement, despite using commercial presses. With a sticker from a Birmingham branch of W. H. Smith to the recto of the rear endpaper. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, very smart. A little bumped to the head and tail of the spine, with some light rubbing to the spine label. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages throughout. Very Good. book.
