In Friesland vormen zij nu de grootste schat aan middeleeuws beeldhouwwerk. Ze werden vervaardigd rond 1490 en hebben houtsnijwerk met een grote variëteit aan voorstellingen. Het betreft bijbelse verhalen, levens van heiligen, maar ook taferelen uit het dagelijks leven en ornamentaal werk. Het snijwerk van de bank uit de Broerekerk toont invloed uit Brabant, dat van de banken uit de Martinikerk invloed uit Noord-Duitsland. Cond.: zeer goed / very good. ISBN: 9789056152789.
