Rock fanzine featuring a cover story on Van Halen, which hailed from Pasadena, only about 7 miles from Temple City. Also includes pieces on Ronnie Montrose, Shoes, and the Rubber City Rebels, as well as a review on Suicide's self-titled debut album and a report on Lou Reed's show at the Roxy in Hollywood on March 27, 1978. Among the contributing writers is Lisa Fancher, founder of Frontier Records, the independent label which found success releasing early records by Circle Jerks, Suicidal Tendencies, Redd Kross, Christian Death, and others. A4 size (8 1/2" x 11"), oblong format: [9] p. with black-and-white illustrations throughout. Photomechanically reproduced on the rectos only and bound with two staples. An unobtrusive tear to the yellow cover sheet has been neatly mended with tape. Scarce, OCLC locates no holdings of this issue, with only a single holding of the January 1978 issue, at Brown University.

Stremel studierte nach dem Besuch des Dresdner Kadettenkorps Malerei an der Akademie in München und unternahm nach Abbruch seines Studiums 1879 zusammen mit Fritz von Uhde eine Studienreise nach Paris, wo er Schüler von Mihály Munkácsy wurde. Von 1880 bis 1887 ließen ihn Malerarbeiten in Holland und Flandern leben, seit den 1890er Jahren war er mit seinem impressionistischen Werk auf zahlreichen Ausstellungen in München und anderswo vertreten.

[.]". - One of the most prominent representatives of Pointillism in Germany, Stremel specialized in landscape painting, portraiture and interiors, worked in Munich, Dachau, Eppan, Dresden, Hyères, Venice and Ulm, and was a member of the Munich and Berlin Secessions as well as the Deutscher Künstlerbund. - A few small ink spots. Self-addressed by the collector on the reverse. The Mecklenburg physician Scharlau (b. 1888) assembled a collection of artists' autographs by personal application.
