There is a faintly visible name stamp of a previous owner on the two front endpapers. Book is securely bound and quite well-preserved. Includes 7 full-page color plates and 4 full-page black and white illustrations, very finely rendered. A detailed and comprehensive report. Indexed. 302 pages. On a personal note, as I was perusing some of the pages, it was fascinating to read about that methods many of the farmers employed in combating pests, using ingredients such as kerosene, caustic soda, sulphur, tobacco water, lye, and arsenic.

Leather on spine faded, gold lettering still shiny and legible. Tan staining, likely from water damage, on front endpapers. Toning along margins of rear endpapers. More water staining around edges of pages. Text on pages is still neat and legible. Minor waviness to pages. Binding secure with no missing pages. Good condition. Remaining pages have similar but much light toning towards fore edge. Text remains clean and legible. Remaining pages are securely attached to binding. Fair condition.
