There is creasing to cover and pages, and miscellaneous stains, but pages are mostly clean, though with fore-edge soil. First edition (no subsequent edition listed).

With the composer's stamps to the wrappers of 1 and 3, with some corrections in red ink. Fantasy Fair "A contemporary legend", originally in three acts, was unstaged, concert extracts only were performed in London in 1953 (Andrew Plant, musicweb-international).
