The fabric is frayed around the corners and at the head and foot of the spine. A small area is chipped from the top of the spine with a 1.75" split in the fabric along the spine. There is rubbing to the boards and fading along the spine. The endpapers have some foxing and discoloration; the front free endpaper has a notation from a previous owner. Overall, a nice copy with bright pages and clean, colored plates in very good condition. Binding is strong.
