Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Very Good, plus some; see scans and description. Albany, NY: Manchurch, 1985. Stated First Printing of 'The Art of the Mystic: The Master Course in Spiritual and Psychic Development'. Original copyright by author Thomas F. Kearns (The Centaur) was in 1984. Signed on the title page w…ith both names - after a warm inscription to an apparently aspiring member of the movement. Octavo, illustrated perfect-bound wraps, 159 pp. Well illustrated with graphics and photographs of the members and inspirational predecessors of The Centaur's direction. Very Good - technically; in fact, closer to Near Fine, with the only flaw being the inevitable small places of soiling on the covers when those are made of white-background absorbent paper. See all scans. Otherwise - immaculate. A what-it-is and a how-to on spiritualism, astral projection, karma, physical phenomena, psychometry, dowsing, spirit contact, Musical Spheres, Star Wars - Zen Master, Psychic Centers, Parade of Spirits, The Magic Ball of Satisfaction, and more - all being a part of Kearns' concept of what we are. See all scans. Scarce - and, with inscription and signature, probably not replaceable at all. Ships in a new, sturdy, protective box - not a bag. L22.

Add to basketEight 16mo leaves ['A4' at foot of recto of first leaf]. Sixteen unpaginated pages. Unbound, in contemporary marble wraps. Aged and slightly stained, but good overall. Dramatic fold-out handcoloured engraving of distressed men in rowboat in turbulent sea, roughly four and a half inches by five wide, captioned 'CENTAU. | Situatio…n of part of the Crew who are leaveing [sic] the Wreck in a Boat.' Closed tear in engraving unobtrusively repaired on reverse with archival tape. Small stamp of the Webster Collection, with manuscript date 1924, on reverse of print. No title-page, so perhaps an extract from a longer work. No copy with this specific title on COPAC.
