The title-page states that this edition has been revised and re-edited with steel engravings; in practice there are only two engravings, one of Henry Handley to the frontispiece protected by a tissue-guard and a second of John Grey of Dilston to the page facing the frontispiece which in effect is a reproduction of the title-page to the original edition.
