Small stain on sheets 2 and 3. Overall in good condition. Protected by pale blue paper covers, which have tears to edges.Thomas Jefferys (c. 1719 â?" 1771), "Geographer to King George III", was an English cartographer who was the leading map supplier of his day. He engraved and printed maps for government and other official bodies and produced a wide range of commercial maps and atlases. Will be sent by courier.

In good condition, lightly aged on aged and creased mount. The signatures are written above one another: 'Mornington / Bayham / J. Th. Townshend'. The only other writing, at the foot of the strip is ' / July 1793'. "Camden served as Lord Lieutenant of Ireland in the revolutionary years 1795 to 1798 and as Secretary of State for War and the Colonies between 1804 and 1805.".

Old damp stain to lower inner margin of title and following 3 pages, (all paper sound and stable). Early green, half calf, gilt decorated spine, slightly rubbed but very good______. Bound circa 1825 (dates from endpaper watermarks) and probably restored at the same time. Overall a near very good copy. The first work is signed by a Captain Fraser of the 42nd foot ( Black watch).___________ Bound with and after: Travels through Spain and Portugal, in 1774; with a short account of the Spanish Expedition against Algiers, in 1775. Almon, 1777. pp; iv, 187p + folded map (lacks frontis).________________________ A complete copy of an extremely scarce route-book to the East Indies which was once used by all who sailed round the Cape to the east. Library search finds 3 copies in the UK : BL, Glasgow and the National maritime museum copy which is defective.
