Blue and white marbled slipcase with silver title label on spine in poor condition, with wear and rubbing on all sides and tearing along all edgings (especially spine hinges and top and bottom boards which are tearing away). Book has same blue and white marbled binding as slipcase and clear DJ. Translucent plastic DJ present and in very good condition. Book binding is in good condition, with wear and fading on covers and spine. Slightly discolored front and back end-papers and free end-papers. Tan bookseller label on back end-paper. Uncut fore-edge. 106 pages. Title page dated 1933. Contains 9 full-page black and white illustrations by Thomas Lowinsky throughout. Colophon page lists this copy as No. 186 of a Limited Edition of 300 copies. A Publisher's review pamphlet regarding a book about illustrator Thomas Lowinsky is tucked under front cover. Despite worn slipcase and some wear on book binding, this Limited Edition copy is in good condition considering age with beautiful illustrations. Binding good and tight. Pages clean and square.
