Externally, significant wear to the extremities, with lifting to the head of the spine and cracking to the joints, which are starting but firm. Lifting to the leather to the corners. Engraved bookplate of Matthew White, Viscount Ridley to the front paste down. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with scattered spotting to the first and last few leaves, including folding map frontispiece. The odd light spotting to the contents. Good. book.
