Number two is in its original card postal envelope with stamps and postmarks with illustrated pasted-on address label (with recipient's address inked on) - very rare. The Art Strike was a campaign launched in 1986 by then Neoist artist Stewart Home who had urged artists to cease creation of artwork between January 1st 1990 and January 1st 1993. Issue one's outer envelope is a little creased, otherwise internally near fine. Contains a card title page, a folded 4pp Art Strike Criticism text, a chart titled The Structure and Functions of the Elite Art and the Various Underground Movements, four A4-sized posters, and a sealed polythene bag containing smaller items relating to the Art Strike Story. Issue two contains a card title page, a sheet of texts by Andrej Tisma and Bob Black, three A4 posters, five A5 cards, and a polythene pouch containing ladybird-themed origami. Very good condition.
