Histoire de la sainte Maison de Lorette (Santa Casa) parfois appelée maison de Nazareth, vénérée dans la ville de Loreto dans la province d'Ancône dont l?historien et professeur Orazio Torsellini (1544-1599) gouvernait le Collčge jésuite aprčs avoir dirigé celui de Florence et le Séminaire romain.Jean Bogard (Joannes Bogardus) imprima et publia dčs 1556 (1562?) dans sa ville natale Louvain puis partagea ses activités entre cette ville et Douai oų il installa une librairie et un atelier de typographie et, peut-ętre, de reliure. A partir de 1594 son fils Joannes le jeune, établi ā Douai, se substitua ā son pčre dans les relations commerciales que Bogardus entretenait avec l?officine plantinienne. Jean Bogart publia ā Louvain puis Douai soixante-dix ouvrages au moins en latin, franįais, néerlandais, anglais, notamment des relations d?actualités, et des réfutations de la religion réformée par le théologien louvaniste Joannes Hessels.
