Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Fair. No Jacket. William Harvey (illustrator). New Impression. Green cloth on boards, with faded gilt lettering to spine, and blind stamp lettering and decoration to front board. Bumping and rubbing to extremities of all three volumes, The spine of Volume I has at one time been split and partly detached. It appears to have been glued back into place. Hand cut pages. Moderate spotting throughout, 'Edited by the author's nephew, Edwards Stanley Poole from a copy annotated by the translator'. With a preface by Stanley Lane-Poole and illustrations from the designs of William Harvey. Volumes II and III are in better condition than Volume I. The illustrations are mostly within the text and as headers and footers to chapter and as such it would be difficult to guarantee that all are present. As such I would suggest that this be treated as a reading or working copy. A heavy item, which will incur additional carriage charges for non UK customers,
