Although technically a catalog for a 1998 German exhibition curiously titled 'The Artificial of the Real', the large-format, clothbound book is beautifully reproduced and reasonably priced, especially given the high production values. Der Kontakt zwischen den beiden dürfte über Josef Maria Eder zustandegekommen sein, den Leiter der k. k. Lehr- und Versuchsanstalt für Photographie und Reproduktionsverfahren, an der Trcka von 1911 bis 1915 studierte. - Verso ist sehr schwach lesbar in rotem Farbstift von nicht identifizierter Hand notiert: "Arch. Prof. Hoffmann", gefolgt von einer vierstelligen Nummer ("1129"?) und einer Formatangabe "8¼ x 11¼". - Sehr wohlerhalten; zwei Einrisse fachmännisch restauriert.…
