With signature dated 1878 to ffep., alongside dated signature (1904) of C.E. Salmon (author of 'Flora of Surrey',(1931)). A unique copy. C.E. Salmon has very neatly annotated this copy having tipped onto the front paste-down and to the verso of the ffep, references for related works (clipped from Journals etc.). He also very neatly wrote several bibliographical references to the areas. There are a further 14 pages where C.E. Salmon wrote notes next to some of the entries.
