Hard Back. Condition: Near Fine. 1st. Publishers green cloth with gilt titles to upper board within floral borders and blind stamped to rear board. All edges gilt, remaining very bright. Light rubbing to edges. Binding sound. Internally crisp, clean and bright. A lovely copy.

Smart armorial bookplate of Philip Hamond Esq pasted to fep. No other inscriptions. Boards lightly bumped indicative of being carried in a pocket. Lovely, clean, tight and bright. A treasure!

pp.xxxvi, [iv], 195. Small 8vo. Hardback. Contents fine. Original, decorated green cloth boards in thor. vg. condition. With signature dated 1878 to ffep., alongside dated signature (1904) of C.E. Salmon (author of 'Flora of Surrey',(1931)). A unique copy. C.E. Salmon has very neatly annotated this copy having tipped onto the front paste-down and to the verso of the ffep, references for related works (clipped from Journals etc.). He also very neatly wrote several bibliographical references to the areas. There are a further 14 pages where C.E. Salmon wrote notes next to some of the entries.
