2 sets of lithographs in one volume, folio, each comprising a title page with lithograph and 20 plates, each plates depicting with 2 or more images the 'voyages' of Trottman to various parts of the world in cartoon form. These two collections span Spain, Italy, Turkey, and in the second [originally the first] collection: Belgium and Holland, Russia, England, Scotland and Ireland. They were originally published in the pages Le Charivari before thes collective book form editions on superior paper. Bound in contemporary Continental half calf, marbled sides, spine with red label, a little rubbed and worn at corners but very sound, internally with just minor marginal foxing, generally clean throughout, FIRST COLLECTIVE EDITION, with a pencil note to the endpaper 'from the library of Cunningham Graham.
