Orange wrappers with front cover tinted photo-illustration of spiral staircase with balusters as background for title and author names lette…ring in white superimposed at top and bottom front cover, respectively; two pages dog-eared (now flat); very small curls at corners: understandable with such a large, wider-than-tall book; spine still very strong, NOT cracked or weakened (again, unusual for such an artifact); faint diagonal bending across top left rear cover, echoing for only a few pages toward center of book (NOT a full crease, folded); previous owner name discreetly printed at top right ffep/half-title page: truthful descriptions make book seem less good than it is: very good artifact, still loaded with dazzle of authors and their excellent humor throughout. Good book for refreshing one's logic past or for taking up boldly the virtues of critical reasoning at one's own pace. All Smith College students should have been/should be required to study this text--not to mention the rest of us.
