Underwood & Underwood specialized in distributing and producing photographic materials and was among the most prolific distributors and producers of its kind. By 1910. Underwood & Underwood began to focus more on news photography and captured some of the earliest aerial photos. In 1920, the company stopped producing stereocards and sold its stereographic materials and rights to the Keystone View Company. Underwood & Underwood enjoyed many more years as a photograph distributor until the 1940s.
