Octavo 7 1/2 x 5 1/4 inches- handsomely leather bound in a full period prize binding, light calf, raised bands, leather lettering label. Minor rubbing. 2 volumes bound in one with two engraved frontispieces (Washington and Franklin) and two engraved titles, 409, 392 pages. Small stain to the first engraved title - otherwise a good copy in a period binding.

First edition. 2 volumes. 2 engraved frontispiece portraits and title page vignettes. 8vo. Publisher's dark blue blind-embossed cloth with a abstract streaked pattern on all boards.
