Book has a slight forward lean. Board corners are bumped. Boards are bowed. Unclipped jacket has heavy edge wear with some areas of loss, heavy tears, chips and creasing.

The book is in ve…ry good condition. There is very minor shelf-wear to the extremities of the cover and the spine is lightly sunned. The binding is tight. There is some light foxing to the top edge, otherwise the pages are clean and unmarked. The dust jacket is fair. There is moderately heavy shelf-wear to the extremities and a 1" split to the spine. There is a mark to the front, light tanning and marking of the back and heavier tanning to the spine. The top and bottom edges of the jacket are backed with tape.

The page edges are browned with the some spotting to the fore edges. Light browning to the pages which are otherwise clean and unmarked. The jacket has quite a bit of d…amage particularly to the top edge. The front panel has a one inch piece missing from the top right corner and tearing and creasing at the top left corner where there is a little loss. The bottom edge has a one inch closed tear and some smaller nicks. One inch piece missing at the top of the spine with a small piece missing at the bottom. The rear panel has a three inch ragged closed tear at the top right corner and tears and small chips at the top left and bottom right corners. Small creases at the bottom corners of the front and rear flaps. First printing.
