Sie fotografierte sie wie den Keramikfi…sch von Ricarda Huch oder die Taschenuhr von Martin Heidegger. Diese Objekte verbleiben als Artefakte in Sammlungen und haben keinen Eigenwert. Historische Bedeutung erhalten sie erst, wenn sie in der Öffentlichkeit gezeigt werden, durchdrungen von einem Bewusstsein für die Identität ihrer ehemaligen Besitzer. Doch was bleibt von einem Objekt, wenn es von seinem Sockel genommen wurde, um dann wieder in den Archiven zu verschwinden? Die Künstlerin verortet ihre Fotografie in der Lücke, die zwischen dem wissenden Betrachter und dem fotografierten Objekt entsteht, und stellt die Frage: Kann die Fotografie die ursprünglichen Auren dieser Alltagsgegenstände bewahren und vermitteln.

The sculptures and architectural interve…ntions can be walked through and form the transition into the next room. The last room is blocked, can not be entered but looked into; this forces the visitors to walk through the whole exhibition again. The sculptural interventions contrast not only the reserved, functional architecture of the exhibition rooms in the Kunstverein, but also reverse the behaviour and function of exhibition space and the transition from one room to the other: the exhibition space becomes a passageway and the spaces between the rooms becomes a space for art and experience.
