(103970) Illustrations photographiques, plans, schémas, diagrammes relatifs à la construction du Pavillon Philips à l'Exposition de Bruxelles 1958.A cette occasion Philips invite Le Corbusier, qui est plus intéressé par le spectacle audiovisuel à l'intérieur du pavillon (rêve lointain de l'architecte-peintre jamais accompli) que par sa couverture architecturale. Le Corbusier dessine une esquisse en «forme d'estomac» et confie son élaboration à Xenakis. Soucieux de laisser l'espace intérieur totalement dégagé et d'offrir une acoustique optimale, l'architecte-compositeur s'oriente vers les surfaces gauches et recouvre le plan de l'« estomac » de coques minces en béton armé sous forme de paraboloïdes hyperboliques et de conoïdes. La société belge Strabed, choisie pour la construction du pavillon, parvient à respecter les plans de Xenakis et construit l'une des icônes phares de l'architecture d'avant-garde du XXème siècle. Par ailleurs, deux « objets mathématiques» (l'un suspendu à l'intérieur, l'autre posé à l'entrée) seront dessinés par Xenakis. Enfin, Le Corbusier, jouissant d'une liberté totale, impose la participation d'Edgar Varèse pour la composition de la musique du spectacle et sollicite Xenakis pour composer deux minutes d'un interlude (Interlude Sonore, 1958), qui sera plus tard réenregistré sous le titre deConcret P.H. Le Pavillon Philips remporte un énorme succès durant l'Exposition. Pourtant la dispute entre Le Corbusier et Xenakis au sujet de la paternité de la forme du pavillon devient cruciale et détériore leur collaboration.
