Some of the issues contain ads featuring the 1939 NY World's Fair and the Wizard of Oz movie starring Judy Garland. Condition issues include: 8/19 - Light wear at the edges; 8/26 - light browning along the spine of the front cover, a couple of light brown stains along the spine of page 13/14, light soiling & edge wear to the back cover; 9/9 - a few small soil spots along the spine of the front cover; 9/16 - light soiling along the edges of the front cover; 9/23 - a light soil spot to the upper right of the front cover; and 9/30 - a 1.75" x .5" scrape at the lower left of the front cover that has a .75" x .25" hole in the center of it, a small chip at the bottom of page 91/92 toward the spine. A very good set with a nice run of Rex Stout serial installments. A heavy, oversize lot that will require additional postage.
