Taschenbuch. Condition: Neu. Neuware - 'Horatio Walker' provides a dedicated exploration of the life and artistic contributions of one of Canada's most distinguished painters of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Known primarily for his evocative depictions of agrarian life on the Ã?le d'Orléans in Quebec, Walker's work bridges the gap between traditional European influences and a uniquely North American sensibility. This volume examines the technical mastery and thematic focus that defined his career, highlighting his role as a prominent figure in the Tonalist movement.
