Adolf Weber-Scheld is a German woodcut artist and painter. He was associated with the famous Expressionist movement during the Weimar era. Displaying a more gentle and lyrical style, Weber-Scheld's woodcuts have been compared to those of Franz Marc (1880-1916). Like Marc, Adolf Weber-Scheld often concentrated upon animals in his… art and used the Expressionist technique to bring forth forceful patterns and rhythms. During the 1920's, Adolf Weber-Scheld's woodcuts were exhibited in Austria, France and Germany.
