Seltene erste Ausgabe. Hildegard Wegscheider (geb. Ziegler, 1871 bis 1953) legte 1894 als erste Frau in Preußen erfolgreich das Abitur ab (Note: 1,3). Da Heinrich von Treitschke ihr die Immatrikulation in Berlin verwehrte, mußte sie zum Studium in die Schweiz. 1898 promovierte sie dann als einer der ersten deutsche Frau erfolgreich in Halle zum Dr. phil. Von 1919 bis 1921 gehörte sie für die SPD der verfassunggebenden preußischen Landesversammlung an und war seit 1921 Abgeordnete im Preußischen Landtag. Mit der Machtergreifung der NSDAP wurde sie von allen Ämtern entfernt. Als Druckdatum findet sich meist 1904 oder 1906, teils auch 1905 oder das unmögliche Datum 1868.
