Contents generally clean and tight but for minor browning/spotting mainly to ffep front & back, and page edges. Nice DW, a little worn with some tears/creases, some chipping/rubbing to edges/spine, minor loss, a little scuffing/soiling. 4 B&W plates by D L Mays. Adventures on board the Golden Vanity with a cadet sailor.

Cracking to hinges, no damage to end papers. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends. Sunning to spine. Gilt lettering has become dull. Book has a slight forward lean. Cloth has minor damp and dust stains.

THERE IS HEAVY FOXING AND DISCOLOURATION TO THE PAGE EDGES AND FOXING THROUGHOUT. THE PAGES ARE GENERALLY CREASE FREE AND INCLUDE SOME BEAUTIFUL ILLUSTRATIONS. ALL IN ALL A NICE EXAMPLE OF THIS BOOK.

In red cloth boards with black lettering front and spine. Top edge sprayed red. 12mo. Cloth very slightly rubbed and rounded on extreme corners and spine tips. A little light spotting on text block edges. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight.

Some faint spotting throughout. In its original bright dust jacket, a little rubbed at edges with short tear at base of spine. Dust jacket now protected in a Brodart-style sleeve.

Price clipped dust jacket has a closed tear to the top of the spine (1.5.cms), and and also to the base of the spine (2 cms), and is edge-worn. Overall a nice copy.
