The boards are somewhat worn at the corners and edges with some whitish spotting, inside front cover has previous owner name in ink at top edge. Some light foxing at the endpapers. Very slight rubbing at spine ends and corners otherwise a clean VG copy with clean text.

Whitlock was an Olympic Gold Medallist in the 1936 Berlin Olympics and this is his instruction book on race walking. Numerous illustrations throughout and published by the Amateur Athletic Association in 1957.
