Die originale Vorlage des Bilderbuches war um 1850 vom Zeichner C. Schulz lithografisch illustriert worden. Die einzelnen ganzseitigen Illustrationen zeigen nummerierte Gegenstände und Szenen zu den Themen Zimmer, Küche, Wäsche, Schule, Hof, Blumengarten, Obststräucher und -Bäume, Ernte, Wald, Fluß, Weiher und See, Landstraße, Stadt, Dorf. Der neuzeitliche Bearbeiter erklärt die Begriffe und die Bedeutung, die das Gezeigte früher hatte. Ebd. leicht eckbestoßen, innen schwache Spur zweier radierter Bleistifteinträge, sonst sehr gut. unpaginiert Quer-Oktav Gewicht: 343 g.
