Light green pebbled cloth with dark green lettering on spine and front board, with an illustration of an arrowhead on the front board, Interior pages are slightly toned; the book is tight and square. The price clipped jacket has a couple of tiny chips at edges, and a little soiling to the rear panel. Includes an Introduction by Margaret Culkin Banning, five maps (including endpapers), and numerous illustrations, glossary, chronology, bibliography, and an index; 231 numbered pages. The book was sponsored by the Minnesota Arrowhead Association, whose Executive Secretary, S. Valentine Saxby, inscribed the book to C. A. Bolte on 10/12/43, all on the half title page.
