Includes an Introduction by Margaret Culkin Banning, five maps (including endpapers), and numerous illustrations, glossary, chronology, bibliography, and an index; 231 numbered pages. The book was sponsored by the Minnesota Arrowhead Association, whose Executive Secretary, S. Valentine Saxby, inscribed the book to C. A. Bolte on 10/12/43, all on the half title page. A title in The American Guide Series.
