Cette seconde approche est metabiologique : elle inscrit les valeurs de la connaissance dans l'horizon d'une philosophie de la Vie non reduite a la polarite nietzscheenne de la sante et de la maladie. Maintenant l'objectif de decrire les allures que prend la Vie dans la connaissance, elle laisse de nouveau apparaitre les valeurs pour la Vie de l'exigence de verite mais en assimilant l'amplitude de ces valeurs a la Mort de dieu. Des lors, la signification restreinte de la connaissance (se rendre immortel) qui etait remanente depuis Platon, s'en trouve bouleversee : en les ouvrant a la Mort, la Mort de dieu demultiplie les allures Vitales de la connaissance. C'est la une maniere pour la Vie, sous la forme de la connaissance, non seulement de se reformuler, mais de se metamorphoser et de renaitre, de grandir. .
