This is one of two fonts Carter designed for Monotype, named Octavian.Accompanying each letter is a brief, but enlightening piece of commentary by Carter pointing out the design details and the principles which guided certain decisions.The Rampant Lions Press was a prominent fine letterpress printing firm that operated from 1924-2008 and was among the most highly regarded printing-offices in Britain.
