The Commitments are a band with a mission: bringing soul to Dublin. Led by Jimmy Rabitte, a young man with ambition, coached by Joey "The Lips" Fagan, an old man with a trumpet, protected by Mickah Wallace, owner of the most feared forehead in Barrytown. Condition: Good condition, but the pages are quite heavily tanned, and with light wear to the spine.

A very good copy of the author's first book, and the first volume of his celebrated Barrytown series.
